The Fujitsu K93176440020 replacement air filter is treated during manufacturing to prevent mold growth. This feature on the filters allows you to have cleaner, healthier air inside your home. The coating also makes it easier to clean your air filter.

Fujitsu recommends cleaning the air filter in warm water with a mild soap mix or with a vacuum cleaner to remove the collected airborne dust and pollutants. After washing the Fujitsu filter, it must be thoroughly air-dried before it can be placed back in the indoor unit. The Fujitsu K9317644013 should be cleaned every two weeks and replaced every 12 months to ensure the best air-cleaning performance of the filter.
